    HA!

If they mistake irreverence for fundamentalism, their loss!

Let's see.. yesterday my son's babysitter showed up early and I was unshowered and still in the clothes she had seen me in the day before. That was a little embarrassing. Also my breakfast dishes were still in the living room. I had to fall on my ISFJ sword a little there. (Although I guess a real ISFJ probably wouldn't let the family eat breakfast in the living room while watching Little Bear.)

I tripped coming up the stairs in front of a bunch of administrators & security guards (a few students too).

    Surroundings? What are they?

Not me, my fifth period teacher to a couple of kids who were caught cheating.

Her: I was in High School too! You think I didn't cheat? I cheated through High School and I cheated in college!

That's nice, not they way to get students to stop though, if anything it's an example.

Teachers like this and I'm the one that is having to defend myself against an insane parent right now.

Sorry to hear that, Sinnamon. I tutored and dodged a few "crazy parent" bullets by turning them down. When you're a classroom teacher you don't have that luxury.

Although once I did tutor a lazy 11th grade boy for whom I did everything short of writing his papers for him- he was smart, just lazy and unmotivated, and I tried to make it fun for him. Then when I offered to attend a conference with his teachers about his grades, I ended up on the hotseat for not bringing his grades up. "What's your method for teaching writing? Where did you go to school? What's your philosophy on pedagogy?" Geezy Pete, people, how about letting the kid feel some of the heat of his own choices?

I just (2 minutes ago) sneezed on my boss. It was one of those sneaky sneezes that you never see coming.

To top it off, I had just chewed up an Oreo and it was only half swallowed when this happened.

/note to self, polish up that resume

Gulped down three Monster MIXXD before going out to eat...yeah..nothing could come out of my mouth correctly whatsoever. It was like being drunk, without being disoriented.

    Fun.

Last night... I got off the bus 5 stops too early. The next bus doesn't come until half hour later... so I had to take a 20 minutes walk to get home.
