Well, that's true. It never does last. But it's sure lovely in that moment!! Once it leaves, enter: bittersweetness. :-)

Off topic, but one of my favorite recent reads was A Fine Balance. It wasn't a happy book by any means, but it was so bittersweet that it became beautiful in my eyes. It did seem to speak to life.

Edit: But as for the true euphoria not lasting, well, if it did last, it would cease to be euphoria. Right? It's the rarity of it that makes it so wonderful when it DOES happen.

Confidence, not sure if this is a true emotion but whateva. But with it I feel I can do anything, and tend to.

My criticism agains this thread was due to misunderstanding.
    I'm sorry for that.

My favourite emotion is being enthusiastic.

    No problem
That's one of my top favourite emotions too. Nowadays when I'm enthusiastic I'm thinking, will this lead to something useful? I'm sad that I think that way, considering how it spoils the feeling. Then again, it warns me from doing anything too big too hastily

    Those are my two favorite.

I don't like bittersweet; I seem to have grown up on bittersweet and I'm sick of it.

    I also like awe.

And that feeling that comes when you touch the hem of a mystery.

They say Schadenfreude doesn't have an english translation, but the word exists in Finnish language, I believe in (practically) exactly the same meaning
    Edit:
    Vahingonilo, noun (Finnish)
Eng. 1. Joy (taken) from someone's displeasure, loss or injury.
They say the Finns have the most frequent and diverse range of negative emotions

My favourites ARE, in no particular order:
    1. Spending time with the boys, they have become such a big piece of me that I could honestly say I love them, but that's maybe considered gay. I also love spending time with a girl I like or love, but right now that's purely hypothetical.
    2. Having cash and being generous to friends, throwing nice parties, making good food. Makes me feel really good, at least when it's not too much you know.
That really makes me feel good.
    3. Having fought hard and long for something, and you finally get your reward. But I like rewards even if you get them without the stupid mindless work, too. I always appreciate things for what they are, I think.
4.The feeling of freedom and independence. Now i'm not talking about being single, that shit sux. I'm talking about getting rid of bosses (not videogames you goddamn introverts ) and instead becoming your own And stuff like that.
    5. Living with someone or having visitors mostly all the time. That gives a nice feeling of not being alone. I've had a friend over from the netherlands, he went home today after having stayed here for little over a week. I hate that i'm alone here now, i'm so damn bored
    6. I don't have a 6th. And I definitely don't like THAT feeling :O
