I don't come here to argue. Arguments just happen.
I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."

If you don't agree about my MBTI type, you can complain about it here. I've had plenty of people telling me I'm something else, in my reputation box. That's annoying.

I do it for cognitive dissonance as well, though until I read victors posts in the past about cognitive dissonance I had never even looked up that term. I dont do it for pain, I do it to counter argue whether I hold the opinion I am argueing or not. It drives someone who is "trying" to convince me of something nuts. The point is just to see mulitple sides which is the opposite of someone trying to "convince" someone of one side. Topics I dont know I have to read and reread the post several times before I can come back based solely on what that person said. Sometimes I do this alot, other times I am just not in the mood.

Its actually cool and really helpful in some instances.

edit: It can break someone who becomes stubborn in thought, etc. Dissonance happens in that person because he is holding the previous belief while realizing that this new one is correct as well. Its called realizing difference in opinion alot of the time when this happens

Wikipedia says it's an uncomfortable feeling, such things are never cool.

Really, who likes someone who can take no side in life ? that's like Adamas son in Battlestar Galactica, everytime you've seen him on the screen someone was screming "booooooooooooring !"

Everyone takes a side, but its the ones who "believe" there side is the right side that gets stuck. And I do take a side...opposite of you. Its actually quite entertaining and frustrating. Its called externally taking a side while remaining internally nuetral. If not you just become hard headed and stubborn.
