    Same here.

The feelings that came to mind before I noticed him were:

    Peaceful
    Old
    Intelligent
    Enchanted

I don't like the Monk. He doesn't look like he belongs there, unnatural... maybe its just the way he is posing. It could be that he's the moral of the story though. He seems like a modern day kid, dropped off in some ancient ruins, completely bewildered and lost (maybe wondering if he hit his head and is dreaming)

Is the general theme of the songs on the album something that would maybe be described by: Lost, Confused, Out of contact with reality... ?

Made me want to take a deep breath in and just hold it for a second

Let me guess, that means I'm mentally disturbed right?

It looks like the San Giovanni del Cappuccio cloister, which was destroyed during WWI after an accident, because it (temporarily) served as an ammunition depot for the Italian army.
The monk shown in the picture is a capuchin, too.

Actually, I didn't notice the monk at all. It wasn't until I read half the thread, that I realized there was something in the picture that I should look at.

I didn't feel anything either way. Neutral.

I like this photo....but the I don't like the monk very much.
.....It makes me imagine and wonder what happened there many many years ago...maybe a story. And also, it looks peaceful and clam...

I suspect the monk was caught unawares as he was adjusting his Groucho Marx mask. (I do see a moustache, and glasses.)

I don't like sepia toned pictures that much but the columns are beautiful.
