Your feelings are your feelings. As such they are appropriate for you. However, when you extend your feelings of anger and translate them into conduct you take on the responsibility to make sure you are acting in accordance with what is right and the belief system you wish to represent. I wish you two would make peace, especially in the peace thread. But, I will leave you with this simply as an invitation:

Eventually, one of you will decide to be the bigger person. Until then everyone else will bear witness to your feud, which could be dealt with in private. I think we now understand the differences between you two. What more should be said?

Does playing safe even exist as a possibility? I wonder about that.

^ touche`. I've considered the beam good sir.

    My conscience forces my hand.

But, (after a cost benefit analysis) I realize I can do nothing for him.

And so will leave you with echoes of arguments that might have been.

No shame in it. I know a wealthy, successful scientist and CEO who has every amusement (including women ) at his disposal. He asked me to direct him to the best colored pencils that money could buy. And I asked about what art he makes. He told me he uses them for coloring-in diagrams in textbooks. Coloring. Just like you, Gromit. Just like the adults who enjoy quiet time coloring as a therapy for post traumatic stress disorder. There is something about the moving hand making marks on paper. Its meditative. No one should feel embarrassed to do it

Yeah, I like Lynda Barry. She strikes me as rather INFJ, as well. One of my friends has a few original drawings by her.

It could be because your iPad, and all electronics, have a delete key. I'm serious.
Brush painting has been around for thousands and thousands of years, and it isn't simply for the art's sake or the writing's sake, its also for the meditative side of it. The chi of the hand, so to speak.
That's true, but also I like the sensory experience of preparing ink and getting even a little messy. I can smell the ink, feel the paper, sharpen the pencils, dust off the eraser leavings. It all comes together in this satisfactory experience.
