Being near water. Like a slow-moving river or something. Listening to music. Coloring (ha!). Hm. I think actually a lot of the things I do are to maximize peaceful feeling. Walking slowly. Looking at what's around you. Breathing fully. Just let go of thoughts and apprehensions. Sometimes I almost have to shake myself, tell myself that it's going to be okay, or that it's out of my control, or to try to see which aspects of the situation are in my control. It's liberating to realize that you've done all you can do and that the rest is up to fate or at least external circumstances.
