I love Vicks. I'd eat it if I could.

    Try this.

As far as I'm concerned Theraflu is the best cold/flu medicine out there!

thanks! I'll go pick some up! Signifigantly better than sounding like I'm on the last leg of my trip through a TB ward!

    many thanks!

whatever, if your throat hurts, gargling salt water is as nasty as all get out, but it does work. Hot tea with some citrus and honey are good, too.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

I heard recently that it's now been proven that a teaspoon of honey is more effective at quieting coughs than dextromethorphan hydrobromide! (the stuff in cough syrup)

I have a pocket of inflammation on the bottom of my right heel. When will this go away and what should I do in the mean time? I've been to 2 foot and ankle specialists and physical therapy which was a crock. I ice it every night which helps a little, but I really just want it to go away.

Take ibuprofen several times a day, so as to keep your system dosed with it throughout the day. Continue icing the affected area, more than once a day if you can manage it. Stay off it as much as possible.
