Favorite (one of many favorites, really): Antedeluvian. I love the way it rolls off the tongue.
Most Irritating: Inferring (because it gets misused so frequently).

Favorite: Persnickety (it sounds like Dr. Seuss made it up or something. )

Most Irritating: Phlegm....It sounds just as gross as it looks.

Can't say I've got a favourite but I'm partial to verisimilitude.

like: serendipity - sounds nice, is a fun concept and has an interesting etymology http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serendipity
dislike: Leistungsträger (literally "performance bearer" = high performer) - much abused self description of the followers of the German libertarian party (FDP) more or less the same as Ayn Rand´s John Galt

bonus round: Brustwarze (literally "breast wart") - what your doctor would call the acromastium, vulgo nipples...what an ugly word my mother tongue created for such a beautiful (and life giving) part of the female body! But then again it is generally disappointing when it comes to describing the female body.

Like: gymnasium, when ever I say it, I feel that the world is at peace.

Dislike: awning , Not really sure but I hate it. I want it to burn in righteous fire.
    "I put the fires out."
    "you made them worse."
    "worse...or better?"

Got lots of faves but for right now I'm gonna pick....Lucid. Not sure why I like it but it just sounds nice (plus its a nice quality in people! haha).
For worst: Anytime anybody refers to me as Boss, Chief, or Brother or any other dumb that name people who don't know me call me.
