Agreed, if it's looks, then never fear with black. It's stylish. Second is blue.

Brown reminds me of poop and I've seen enough poop to last two lifetimes.

Just for the record, no. I never noticed a feather.

Jen, thanks for that color study. I'm curious why the word "confidence" wasn't in there.

Many years ago, I learned that salesman are supposed to wear a tie with a little red in it, if they want to portray confidence. Many politicians do that, too, when they're giving speeches.

It's funny to me that so many people have said you can't go wrong with black. I think black looks good only on people with certain coloring. I, for example, look dead in black. So does my mom.

I can't tell from you picture whether black would look good on you or not, but I think the green would.

You might be the type of person who looks better in warmer colors like brown, oranges, warm greens, other warm colors, like autumn or spring colors.

I also look dead in black and can't wear it close to my face without lots of make-up. But I can't wear warm, autumn colors either. I look good in cool colors and great in blue, pink and white.

Those with pink skin and blue eyes rarely look good in the browns, olives and oranges most redheads can wear glowingly. Designer magazines try to convince us otherwise, but when Fall arrives there are few clothes I can buy when those colors hit the racks.

By season-color-typing, I'm a summer. I look best in soft cool colors, like what Jae Rae describes. Autumn and spring colors kill me as well. Black is too harsh; navy works better.

I cannot vote because I don't know how you look so I cannot decide what color would fit you.
