The stigma attached once someone is accused of being a child molester or rapist does not go away. I would never allow a child in my care to be in the company of someone I knew had been accused of such offences, regardless of if a court finds them guilty or not. Its common sense to err on the side of caution as the child's physical and psychological welfare is more important than the adult's right to be free from discrimination and stigma.

And regardless of that I wouldn't allow a child to have a "sleep-over" with an adult unless they were a babysitter/relative. Once again, no need to put them at risk like that.

Yes, I've been thinking, is it sane to actually assume that there's a possibility greater than 1% that some adult wants to sleep with bunch of kids in bed but DOESNT want to touch them ?

P.S. you didnt answer the poll?

I have no opinion on what Jackson's motivations were, it's way too extreme a case, but in a normal non-king-of-pop scenario I would not presume good intentions.

Well, I'd say the danger has lessened quite a bit recently.

Dragging around an emotionally fractured guy who suffered his own share of abuse in childhood and whose life ended tragically, what, 16 months now?

There's gotta be something better to do on a Saturday night, isn't there?

I never discussed MJ before. And his childhood is no excuse.
