Five years ago I'd easily have put myself in group 2... but these days I don't really stay up late anymore. I have to get up pretty early for work, and as I get older I find that I have trouble sleeping if I'm not pretty strict about maintaining a pretty strict schedule (yeah, not fun ). So since I can't really sleep in much anymore, I tend to go to bed at around 11 and get up by 8 on the weekends, 6-6:30 during the week. But I'm definitely more alert in the evenings. So... type 2 by nature, type 1 by necessity?
“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside
them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.” -Neil Gaiman
Late to bed, late to rise.
I feel most alert late in the day...usually after 6:00 p.m. but most often not until after 8:00 p.m.
A nocturnal human but it makes living in the "everyday" world a big difficult.
Early riser. Not particularly early or late sleeper. I go to bed between 11:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., usually.
I envy people who can sleep late. I almost always awake before 8, even when I go bed at 3. It's annoying because I can't usually make my self sleep later.

A single event can awaken within us a stranger totally unknown to us. To live is to be slowly born.
