Definitely #2. It takes me an hour or two to wake up and start getting going and I'm at my best in the evenings.

I hate getting up early, which I perceive as before 10-ish. I am full awake around 6-ish, rinse and repeat.

I've always been a night owl. But I've recently gotten sick of working late, and its hard to work from home-- so I've trained myself to wake up early. Its not natural.

I tend to go to bed at at least 1 AM, even when I have something at 7 or 8 the next day, with few exceptions.

When I have nothing, it's 2-4 AM. If I can, I usually sleep 9-10 hours.

Right now #2 fits my sleeping pattern. I've had past jobs where I had to get up really early and then I was more #1. So I'm flexible.

    1) definitely, but not really extreme. Ideally, I rise around 6.30-7.00 AM and go to bed at 11 (waking up at 5 AM on a daily basis would kill me). Can't stay in bed for long after - say - 10 AM, unless I got to bed really late. I do generally lose energy as the day goes by, I'm at my most energetic during the morning.

I hate mornings with a passion. Which really sucks since I work from 7 AM to 4 PM. It takes me about 15 minutes to get to work, and I tend to get up about 30 minutes before I have to be there..... Yeah... I'm that lazy... On weekends, I stay up till 3-4 AM and wake up around 10-11 AM the next day. If I woke up early in the day, you better believe I'm taking a nap sometime throughout the day!
