Default Age difference with your friends

So, I will have to restart school because after finishing 2+ years of medicine i dont want to continue, so i will have to start college from starts.
I am mostly worried about people being 4-5 years younger than me, not all, but i guess 80% of them will be 4 yrs younger.
I am 23, while I feel younger than I am 2-3 yrs, 19 year olds can be too young form me.
    Not yet, but when I'll be 27 they'll be 23... i dunno.

    am i overreacting ?

I figured 3 yrs difference (20y.o.) isnt noticable with me at all, but 19 or 18.. that could be.

i dont want to listen HS stories again.

My experience has been that my core of friends have almost always been a few 2-4 years older than me.

While people seem to say that there is not much difference between 21 (me) and 18, I tend to disagree. There's more of a difference from 23 to 18.

You have to...restart? No credit transfers?

Try to make friends outside of class?
Don't know how much it'll bend til it breaks.

yes, that's how it goes here.

this are courses that will go to waste completely.

Year 1: Physics 1 (Basic Physics with Biophysic Essays), Medical and Molecular Biology, Anatomy and Clinical Anatomy, Social Medicine and Introduction to Medicine, History of Medicine, First Aid, Introduction to Medical Terminology, English Language, Medical Chemistry & Biochemistry 1, Introduction to Medical Statistics, Basics of Medical Informatics , Principles of Evidence Based Medicine.
Year 2: Medical Chemistry and Biochemistry 2, Histology & Embriology, Physiology, Immunology, Fundamentals of Neuroscience, Medical Sociology, Psychological Medicine, English Language.
    fuckers.

yeah 18/19 is simply directly from HS, so you need to wait at least 1 semester while they become more adult. Actually, just remembered that thing is probably a bit better here because, i dont know how it's like in US, but most people do drink and drugs here in HS so they dont "get wild" in college. (hah, at least something!)

i dont really like much older friends, too, but everything seems better than 18 and 19.

Try to make friends outside of class?
that's possible of course, but i'll have to spend with the same 60 19 year olds few hours a day..

ah well i could maybe finish it in 2yrs (undergrad is normally 3yrs here, but some small stuff will transfer, maybe 1 semester at best, and maybe they give me to do it a bit faster.), that's makes me somehow positive.

all my friends have been older.
    started after high school.
i'm on average about 7 years younger than everybody.

you are 29? i imagine at 29 it's different... bc you and 36 are somehow in the same age group (about to form a family).

23 and 30 is big difference imo.

i pretty much get along with people +-4yrs from my age, only people who are directly out of HS annoy me.

Gotta say I agree. I've been around them in class. They are bareable at best. Just playing...They aren't that bad - I just couldn't kick it with them outside of school.
