Now let's talk about unimportant/trivially important things to see how many people are REALLY LAZY!

Are you often too lazy to:

    1. Go to the store and buy groceries?
Yes, I tend to put this off until I literally have almost nothing good to eat left.

    2. Put another roll of toilet paper on the toilet paper holder?
Hell no! Think of the consequences!

    3. Clean the hair out of the shower filter/sieve thingy?
    No

    4. Do the ironing/wash?
Somewhat. Not so much with washing but definitely with ironing. I hate ironing.

    5. Organize your shit and put it back in place?
Generally no. I'm pretty well organized with my things. I like to be able to find what I'm looking for. I think I'm somewhat more organized than the average P. But what I often do is leave certain things laying out for a while, especially if I think I'm going to use it again really soon

    6. Pay your bills?
No, I tend to pay them when they arrive. Sometimes I'll wait until I get my next paycheck before paying it off but this is not laziness.

    7. Walk or ride a bike instead of driving/taking the bus/train/taxi?
Sometimes. I'm too far to walk or bike to work for that to be an option. The grocery store and other places I frequent are at least a mile from where I live so I usually end up driving. I used to own a bike but it fell apart. If I lived closer, I'd walk/bike more.

    8. Hand in your assignments/finish your work projects on time?
In school I often drove myself crazy trying to do things at the last minute but I always made the deadline.

    9. Wake up on time in the morning?
I've had mornings where I was very tired and groggy but if I had to be somewhere at a certain time, I'd drag my feet getting there rather than going back to sleep.

    10. Exercise?
Yes, when I'm absorbed in doing something far more interesting than exercising.

    11. Run errands?
    Sometimes. See #10 above

    12. Clean the house?
Not really. I get grossed out by dirty dishes and by too much dust and dirt so I keep it pretty clean. I tend to put off vacumming and do it about once a month. I should probably do it a little more frequently but I am very careful about minimizing the amount of dirt and stuff that gets on the floor to begin with.

    13. Print something out?
Sometimes. I suppose it depends on what it is. I try to minimize my printing, often opting to save or bookmark what I may want for future reference. Printer cartridges are so expensive!

    14. Read?
Generally no. I read alot for fun, so its hardly a chore. Maybe some really boring, heavily technical stuff. Or reading for school assignments.

    15. Watch a movie til the end?
I have a long list of movies I've been meaning to watch but somehow never get around to. Once I start watching a movie, I usually watch it all the way through unless it really sucks.

    16. Finish a project for your hobby?
I have a whole bunch of ongoing projects in various stages of completion.
I like to finish to what I start but it can be difficult when I've got a bunch of things competing for my attention.

    17. Practice dancing/playing a musical instrument?
I took piano lessons for a couple years as a kid and I hated practicing! I guess I don't like being tied down and told how I should spend my time so I quit. I want to do such things when I feel like doing them, not be tied to a specific schedule although I know very well practice makes perfect.

    18. Visit your relatives?
Yes. I'd like to visit them more often than I do. Its hard to come up with times that work for all of us. And most of my relatives are at least a two hour drive from me. Several live out of state.

    19. Keep in touch with your friends?
Yes, I'm bad about this. I have alot of friends that sort of just fell off my radar because I wasn't good about keeping in touch. I'm trying to be better about this.

    20. Organize a trip/holiday vacation for yourself?
Yes. I would like to take more vacations. I don't have a whole lot of money working only part-time so when I go somewhere, its usually just a day trip somewhere. I don't like the process of planning out the details.

    21. Take care of your body?
As I said in #10 above, I sometimes put off exercising.
Sometimes I push my body beyond the comfort zone regarding sleep.
I'm not always the most diligent about going to the dentist or doctor. I don't go for regular checkups, only when there's something wrong.

    22. Cook for yourself/eat right?
I should cook alot more than I do. I eat too much fast food and when I do cook, its usually those quick, microwaveable meals. At least when I eat out, I try to choose the healtheir options, but still, I'd be better off cooking for myself and I'd have more money too. I just don't enjoy the process of cooking that much and the cleaning up that follows afterwards. There are more interesting ways I could be spending my time.

    23. Pick something up after it fell down?
Usually not. I don't like things lying on the floor, especially if its something that physically gets in my way or I might trip on. Sometimes in the store, I'll accidentally drop coins on the floor when paying for o

    24. Put laundry in the hamper when dirty / put wash in the closet after clean?
Rarely to the first, sometimes to the second. I hate having dirty clothes on the floor. I don't mind nearly as much a stack of clean clothes to put away.

    25. Go to the bathroom/outside to fart in public?
I have put off going to the bathroom when absorbed in something really interesting until I literally could no longer hold it in anymore.
