Why is it that if I get an underage, my license gets revoked....there's no logic to that. I will absolutely never drive drunk, even if I am under 21. I'm not stupid...don't assume because I'm at a friend's house drinking doesn't mean I'm going to jump in my car the next second...that's just fucking bullshit.

Rubbernecking. It slows up the traffic... causing other problems beside the accident that happened. Rather than gawking at the accident and slowing traffic up, call 911!

I guess I don't get why Avatar, which I recently saw on a large screen in Blue Ray, was so incredibly popular. When that movie's effects (the only thing everyone, myself included, agrees was great) are run-of-the-mill or even dated in ten years and it has to impress viewers more on its other merits (like it's predictable story, one-note cliche characters and pretty standard performances), I feel like people might be a little confused why it was such a smash hit. I mean, classics like Star Wars, Die Hard, Dr. Strangelove or even Psycho still work decades later with pretty dated looking stuff. I just can't see the same being said about Avatar.

What the fuck man, why the hell would anyone cut themselves up like this and then put it on the internetz.

I didn't search it out either, I was led to it by a seemingly innocuous link...you've been warned.

The worst mistake people make in political arguments is assuming that the other side is not trying to do the right thing. This simple oversight makes productive conversation nearly impossible.

How can someone be a professor, and be completely biased at the same time? And why are there so many biased professors...the goal is to teach in an unbiased manner. If you have the logic and reason to back up whatever you need to say in a paper to support your own opinions, then you should get a good grade, instead of being graded poorly for thinking differently. Makes me think of how people are losing their ability to be individuals with their own opinions and how everyone thinks the same...makes me sick.
