I would study my hobbies and spend a ton more time with my wife and kid, if I got really good at my hobbies over the years I might write/produce a book or two about/displaying them.

Yes, but I would be the boss, so I could take vacations whenever I wanted to. I would still want to utilize my skills and do some charity work, I would also become some sort of mogul.

Even with 75% of your money disappearing, you'd still have more money than you'd probably know what to do with.

Probably in some capacity, but not the job I have now... probably my job would be managing the Foundation I would establish (probably to help non-citizen children of undocumented immigrants go to college), and maybe I would indulge my passion for literary translation and hopefully get a few more books published.
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

Edward: Bebop here here! Alright woo hoo!
Weathergirl: Chance of rock showers today upgraded to 90 percent.
    Edward: Really.

I do not need one hundred million not to work. 99 million would be sufficient.

    i'd quit school.
maybe go back when i get genuine wish to study something.

i'd work something of course... probably even more than now, ironically, because i'd have more options.

If you want to avoid having that money get stolen out from under you over time, you are going to have to get educated about business and finance, and actively manage those funds. Then it becomes your job to be a Chairman of the Board of various enterprises whether you like it or not.

Because, sure enough, if you do an invest-and-forget into a few safe-looking funds, that money will disappear on you bit-by-bit.
this was my first thought too.
