Things I used to collect but can't afford to invest money into anymore: Furoku, comic books, odd costume clothing.

Things I still collect: Fortune cookie papers, movie ticket stubs, airplace stubs, and event stubs (concerts, places I've been, etc.). I also collect bento boxes, and other things from Japan. Books. T-shirts (I plan to make a quilt out of those one day.. I swear..)

That's all I can think of right off the bat.

Things I collect but not because I decided to collect them.. life just sorta threw them my way: Kitchenware, perfume, shoes

Something I'd like to collect: Original Artwork, both 3-d and 2-d.
Kantgirl: Just say "I'm feminine and I'll punch anyone who says otherwise!"
Halla74: Think your way through the world. Feel your way through life.

Cimarron: maybe Prpl will be your girl-bud
    prplchknz: i don't like it

i also know a young guy who makes these amazing books of stuff, they are kind of like scrapbooks except he puts REALLY DIVERSE stuff in them... there are concert tickets and drawings and polaroids and letters and things he found on the street...... it is CRAZY how much diversity is in his books, it is really nuts. every page has like 10 million things, and every page is totally new. he has dozens of them. he can fill them up so fast that he just gives them away to people all the time, and he still has tons of them at home.

i collected lots of books and music. records was my thing, i had giant classic jazz/blues record collection. i collected beer labels for a while.
now i am getting rid of all my collections...

i have a lot of records
but i also have a lot of shoes...
so i don't know if that counts as
collecting, or if i just like buying
    shit.

Nothing. If there is one thing I'm not, it's a collector. Either it has a use, or it's going to the trash bin (or swept under the carpet :P).

I used to collect coins when I was a small person.

Beads. I like unusual beads from other countries. There are some fantastic lamp work and silver beads I'm going to get when I get rich.

    Books...music...no surprise here.

    Perfumes and essential oils.

Hand-written letters. I don't know why but I love them.

I collect books. That's really it. I have an awesome book collection. Psychology, Buddhism and Spirituality (some Self-Help), Vocab books galore, Ethology and Animal Behavior, Reference, Coffee Table books, Biology books, Physics, some art, and some landscaping/architecture books. I fucking love them. I'm very overprotective.
