If I was a functioning person, then I would chose love.
I agree with YWIR, though. Love isn't always associated with people -- the love for finding the why or the "answer" drives me in life. I wish it were my love for people that drove me, but it isn't.
Truth encompasses love with itself. It shows where love truly exists. You are saying that love isn't true, which at times is true, but to say that it completely excludes it, I think, is untrue.

Interesting. When I first read the question I thought the exact opposite. I would choose love because love is larger than truth and encapsulates it. Truth has no meaning outside of the context of love. That is truth finds its meaning and purpose within the relationship that love creates.
But, the more I think about it the more I believe in the interdependency of the concepts. Truth is meaningless without love, but love requires truth and is not love without it. I believe they are both enduring and eternal.
