Sooo I ended up having to meet on campus during that time

There is something cool about multiple people doing the same thing at the same time. If anyone is interested in doing it again I'll hopefully be able to make it!

I tried to concentrate on my breathing and was successful for a bit, then start thinking about something and had to bring myself back to my breathing. There were times when I felt on the verge of falling asleep--kind of neither here nor there--but then I would snap back to being aware of my surroundings. It felt like being pulled back into--not my body--but maybe into a physical/mental awareness? Near the end of the 20 minutes, there was less tension in my neck and shoulders, though once I started noticing that, the tension tried to come back. I do feel more peaceful and less tense overall.
Cool sounds like a good experience! Will you try again?

Verrry interesting experience. I'll definitely be meditating more often.

Despite my lack of mental discipline (my mind wandered constantly the first half and intermittently during the last), I think twenty minutes of mindfulness meditation still decreased my anxiety and increased my mental clarity.
