So you have wide hips and are busty as well.

    The best tops for you:

    -have wide straps
-wrap-over tops (they lift and separate the bustline)
-blouses which are tight around the waist and loosens at the chest. Look for a tie right under the bust. Corset blouses don´t go well with wide hips.

^ Oh, my hips aren't wide. They are normal, I guess. My boobs are just big (I was saying my ribcage and hips are the same I think, so I don't know if that affects much).

I don't know! I need some measuring tape!

I think I know what you are talking about...I find the only sleeveless tops I really like are like, dresses with absolutely no straps, and a defined waist. Everything else just heavies it up.

That sounds pretty winter to me.

based on your description I think that would make you what is called a "deep" winter. You're not limited to only these colours, but would you say that when you listed things like "red" and "super purples" that these were what you had in mind?

As long as it is not cold, a jacket can help.

Try to wear one that has no pockets or details at the bust.

Yeah, those are pretty much the colors I was thinking of. Rich colors, overall. Only a few pale shades (peach, gold) look fabulous on me.

And Donna: thanks! Your advice has been really helpful

    Winter it is!

if you have the money for it, i would recommend getting yourself a colour swatch. It's really convenient to have if you're shopping and you're a little unsure if an article of clothing the right kind of blue/red/etc.

the basic ones swatches i've seen are around $20, but they can get pretty pricy if you find stuff that offers more than just fabric colours
