“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside
them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.” -Neil Gaiman

Cheerio is one of my fav nicknames, but is often taken as a username, so I needed an adjective. I used red because my hair has a slight bit of red in it/ a "tinge of the ginge" (has more of a ring than "blondecheerio"), and because the Canadian Olympic hockey team wears red.
I use Sas-Lou a lot because it's my name. I couldn't be arsed to have the S and L as uppercase when i joined so left it as it is but just recently it's been bugging me. I want something different so at present i'm still in the process of deliberating alternative usernames.
@mrcockburn .. Why did you choose this username. I have always been curious?
“I made you take time to look at what I saw and when you took time to really notice my flower, you hung all your associations with flowers on my flower and you write about my flower as if I think and see what you think and see—and I don't.”

It's a moniker I invented back in high school. I was sitting in my psych class and we were discussing Jungian archetypes. I didn't really relate to any of the archetypes we were talking about in that class so I decided to make up one up, the "The Tinker" or the one who likes to know how things work. People, places, and events and such are very interesting to me and I like finding out how and why they work and that helps me to understand them.
In retrospect, I think "The Servant" or "The Counselor" might have been more appropriate but that was what I came up with at the time.
"683" is simply a reference to my birth date: June of 1983.
