I would inject myself with something so that I wouldn't remember pressing the button, and then press the button.
Overpopulation is the biggest problem on earth, and there is no simple solution to it.
Massive culling might someday (probably sooner than we think) be our only option.

Even if it looks like a nipple, it is not.

Society needs cleaning. If done properly, it can be a step towards the aforementioned "Age of Enlightenment".

If I could choose the people who'd get teleported and who stay, then I'd press it. There are already too many people on this planet. Or can't we just send free condoms to places where they make too many babies instead of sending food?
I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."

Oh, easy. I'd take it apart and see how it works.

Boy!! I am sure glad all you subjective and opinionated people don't really have access to this button..

There is direct relation to how you view others and how you view yourself..
So if you find your fellow man ugly enough to doom him to fiery death and justify it as populations control.. practice what your preach.

Be the change you want to see in the world. And Please.. try not to make too big of a mess on the way out.. someone has to clean up after you're gone.

    Thank you

1,862,960,721 people would be left. Those aren't horrible odds. Hmmm... press it, or don't press it. That is the question. Nobody really knows if it works after you press it because we don't know how long the process takes, odds are you would die too if you pressed it, morally however if you die and there is nothing after this it wouldn't matter. I'm tempted to find out what would happen, but we'll go with the last choice.

Hmm... It seems like there would be more trouble if you press the button... It's not like it would be a bad thing for the people thrown into the sun, but for the rest. All the world would go into anarchy. After a while it would settle, but I am pretty sure that it wouldn't take long and there would be same kind of population explosion, and then you'd have to press the button again.

I guess I'd try to make sure no one presses the button.
