I once gave reps to everyone in a single thread. I just came by and slapped them all over everyone, and they all were so grateful, but their eyes were shut to the fact that I wasn't discriminating. I felt exhausted from the amount of creative energy I exerted, and had to let my rep reservoir refill itself. Eventually, all the members of the thread found out that I was doing it to them all, and they never spoke with me again. One day I will let my creative juices fly once more.

Receiving rep is always a buzz, because I'm not really expecting it. Giving rep isn't as much fun because I'm totally expecting it, but then I've already had my fun which is why I'm repping. Mostly I forget I've given a rep almost as soon as I send it. They're my messages in a bottle thrown out to sea. Although I don't think I would put "LOL" on a message in a bottle and throw it out to sea. But maybe I should.

Receiving blank rep is sad though.

Cause at first you're all like "oooooh, someone loves me!" but then you realise they don't

I know, because blank rep never produces jack shit. You just keep pumping it out, but the person your repping never has anything fruitful to respond with.

Rep in the morning is good. Rep in the evening is fine.

It's that afternoon rep, though. That's when rep is the best.

Hey, well at least he didn't get repped unwillingly. It's always nice to at least get a memo before it happens.

I like both giving and receiving rep. It's a fun way to connect with people without having a big ole conversation or derailing the thread.

Rep should always be neutral or positive, though. My received reps have been positive except for a couple of jerky comments. It's like digging into a chocolate pie and then realizing it's made of mud instead. If you have something negative to say or a bone to pick, do it via PM, douchebag. :-D If you leave even a semi-douchey rep, I'll probably always remember you negatively.
