Many men seem to miss the obvious problem: posting a picture of yourself looking pale, hideous and serious like you're the Unibomber? No no. No.

God, surely there must be a happy medium!
Murphy Brown: What is it with us? Why can't we take the easy road once in awhile?
Avery Brown: Because it's boring and dishonest and uncomfortable, like wearing a pair of shoes all day that pinch your feet.

I've never met anyone who's confessed to actually using one as a dating tool. Mostly they're just messing around. Or so they say.

There's this tv ad in Australia for eHarmony right now which claims that 2% of American newlyweds last year said they met on eHarmony. It's the sort of thing they know we'll believe about Americans without needing to have any proof.

In that case, I vote for pale d00ds. Because the oompa-loompa look is just wrong.

I think what I'm finding the most disturbing is the stifling amount of attention - not the flattering kind - the " HEY I CALLED DIBS FIRST" kind of attention, which is overwhelming and angering. I feel like I'm being bounced back and forth between people like "The Night at The Roxbury". Which sounds funny, IF it isn't happening to you...
