With the INTJ, the fact selection comes about because you've ran counter to some inner schematic of his. The crux is going against his beliefs, imho.

Argument styles are slightly different. Why he's an INTP to me is the level of detachment, and straightforwardness, simply. He does not try to armtwist you to his beliefs, nor convince you of them. The feel is that if he points out where you're wrong in yours, you should arrive on his thinking, as he cannot be wrong, since you've not considered the same/more facts than him. Detachment.

With an INTJ, there's a certain sense that you're going to be strong-armed, ignored or completely annihilated till you come around/out-manouver them. Charm/manipulation.

*All views expressed are own. Take with a fat pinch of salt.

This makes me wonder about my type even more. I've tested INTJ every time I've taken the test, including once professionally. But I've always suspected that I'm INTx, and I definitely feel more of the detachment you talk about. Who knows.

I can definitely identify with aelan's post.

Actually, I have also proposed that BlueWing is an INTJ.

I'll agree with you. If he didn't say he was INTP, I wouldn't believe it. He seems too stiff.

Heh, though I was thinking something similarly facetious, but not in the mathematical direction. I won't taunt though cos I really wanna see it, and I know how sensitive people can be about showing their stuff.

Didn't keep, sorry, and haven't done it in a long time.

Most of it was "love" poems when I was in highschool, however. Not very good though, but I did do it! I wrote some for school too, a mix of angst and nature. Oh, I also recited poetry - schools, competitions and that sort of stuff. Won a couple of prizes and won a competition or two.

    Was pretty into it, actually.
