1.) My ruck sack (camping gear with spare clothes are packed inside)
2.) My computer bag (laptop and external hdd stay inside that)
3.) My AR (if I'm wearing pants, I've got my revolver on me so I don't consider that something I have to grab)
Not worried about important documents. They stay in a fire proof safe box. I'll just sift through the rubble for it later.
This thread reminds me of my mom growing up. She was very adamant about all clothes hanging up having the hangers with the open side of the hooks facing towards the inside of the closet. When I finally noticed and asked about it, she said it was so you could just grab an armload of clothes, yank 'em off the rack quick, and go through the window if the house ever caught fire. I'd never thought of it that way before, but I've always hung my clothes that way ever since. Never underestimate the wisdom of those ol' country ladies.

"We are never alone my friend. We are constantly in the company of victories, losses, strengths and weaknesses. Make no mistake, life is war...and war is hell. Those who fight the hardest will suffer the most...but that's what you have to do: Fight. As long as you're feeling pain, then there's hope...because only the dead do not suffer." -RD Metcalf
