That means you were able to get the original absinthe there, which was the stuff they drank back in the days aswell. We bought a bottle and it was amazing.

My friend and me were walking on the beach, emptieing the bottle and the whole sceneray began to look like its an oil painting and you finally understood why impressionism originated . The scenery was much more intense, the colors were brighter and had many gradients between them. The interesting thing was, it wasnt like all your senses and your whole sensation was boosted, no, because you did smell nothing, like always on alcohol and your hearing wasnt the best aswell no more. But the vision was marvellous, lights began to get an aura like shining and this "aura" melted with the colors around it. Quite impressive

When we came to Arles and sat in the cafe de nuit, we knew exactly what this guy was having, when he painted the picture

What an amazing experience!! Did you use the slotted spoons as well?? I am not certain of the thujone concentration in Green Fairy but it does have a euphoric effect on one glass - but then again I drink very rarely.

I am amazed that they also used opium and hashish back then with a kick like that in the absinthe!!???

Maybe. It's the traditional beer of Oktoberfest.

Oh and whatever = Long Island Iced Tea. There can be no other.

mimosa is champagne and orange juice... a poinsetta is a mimosa only you sub the OJ with cranberry juice

and pina coladas (or anything pineapple/coconut!) are awesome!

ms chickenz gets test tube shots... you never know what you're going to get

OMT, with his beer knowlege, gets the sampler platter from the local microbrewery (7 different beers... and food!)
