I just realized that I am almost perfect grammar wise when texting except that I don't use apostrophes. Like, I'll say "doesn't" like "doesnt" in a text just because it's really annoying to put them there when I'm in a hurry.

Yes. And I'm kind of a snob about it, too, though lately I've been lagging.

Yes, unless I hit the character limit at which point I'll shorten some longer words, but usually if that's the case then I'm just going to to send an email.

Shoot... I speak in zero's and one's, if they can't understand my binary code then shame on 'em!

I use abbreviations like "brb", "lol", and "ttyl", but for the most part, I am a Grammar Nazi. Trouble is, whenever I text with my phone, I can make the first letter of the line capital, and the rest of them come out lower case, and it annoys me.

Yes. I don't speak in text-code. I speak in English, folks!
“To explain all nature is too difficult a task for any one man or even for any one age. 'Tis much better to do a little with certainty, & leave the rest for others that come after you, than to explain all things by conjecture without making sure of any thing.”—Statement from unpublished notes for the Preface to the Opticks (1704) by Newton.

What do you think about me? And for the darker side, here.

    Smile The Anglosphere

The Queen's English has no grammar; only what sounds good. That is why poetry is so central to good English.

However a Spanish monk applied a latin template of grammar over English, and this is what passes for English grammar.

And what 'sounds good' gives English such freedom.

And so it is no accident that freedom is the highest value of the Anglosphere.
