    hermeneutics son.

also, he never has time to answer prayers, rid the world of evil, designs a people who are required to believe in him if they have heard of him or else they will be punished eternally but since he is supposed to be almighty he could just show himself to everyone but instead he "tests" us. Not very Feeler-y.

Well, the test he gives isn't fair, so maybe he isn't a T.

yeah, I'm turning this thread into a religious debate/bashing. y'all mad?

Feelers test people. He doesn't wanna show himself to us because he acts out of principle. Doesn't want to intervene and want us to get closer to him by our own free will. Like an INFP.

why would he need to test us if he is all knowing

Because it's a race that has the capacity to improve. I mean, you could wonder why he'd bother to create ANY race in the first place if you want to go that way.

Apparently you haven't tried Him lately.
NTJ's are the only types that have ever made me feel emo.
ENP's are the only types that have ever made me feel like a sensor.

some of us have the capacity to "improve" by god's standard (whatever standard is in for the particular time period, anyway), but some of us do not, or question the legitimacy of any religion due to it ultimately having no reasonable support. These people are punished for having the 'free-will' that would be god-granted, because they did not use their capacity to improve as god sees fit (and being omniscient he already knew they would fail but punishes them anyway).

Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door will be opened.

No amount of conversation or debate can substitute for actually getting on one's knees and doing it. Or standing up. Or wherever.

I meant long term improvement. We were no more than monkeys at one point supposedly...

I'm agnostic, but when I was more christinaly inclined...the way I saw it was that God doesn't "punishes" us per se. He gives us free will and the option to "go to heaven". Hell would be to not be in his presence. But we are free to enjoy the earthly pleasures and all that. We'll simply not achiever holiness.
