Sunny spring days with a light breeze blowing and the heady musk of new growth filling the air.

Dew-spattered early mornings as the sun rises.

Clear cold nights when the stars shine hard and bright.

    New snowfall.

The sight and sound of running water, or crashing waves.

Dark, intense music, the darker and more intense the better.

Music, sleep, exercise, food, friends occasionally...the little things most often...too many to go into details

Getting something accomplished, especially if it is challenging and interesting. Also, a long walk/hike alone often helps.

Eww, no! That stuff just makes me feel like even more of a failure!

I find petting my dogs and playing with them helps. It's like you can enter dog-world for a bit, where life is as simple as "eat, sleep, shit, play". For a similar reason, TV shows like Teletubbies, meant for 2 and 3 year olds, can be strangely soothing.
