^Gee guys, I think he might be onto a groundbreaking realization! It may even turn out to be a complete paradigm shift from modern thought. Perhaps worthy of a Nobel Prize!!

Victor is right actually. it is not the Earth that rotates, it's the rest of the universe that rotates around it!

The universe rotates around ME, carajo! :steam:

Quite right and I have the mathematics in front of me to prove it.

To think otherwise is to deny the evidence of our senses.

And if we deny the evidence of our senses, the world becomes nonsensical.

Loose your mind, they told me, and come to you senses. So I did just that and the world started to make sense.

And it started to make sense for me. And no one can make sense for me, I must do it myself.

Some call me an extreme individualist - and it's true. But when I started reading The Good Book for myself, I started to see the world through my own eyes. And who can gainsay that?

It's true, its a lonely business but I am never more myself than when I am alone.

I like to see myself as the Lone Ranger going where no man has gone before.

But I reach back to you and tell you what I have seen. I know you won't believe me so look for yourself and see if the Earth moves.

Volcanoes are not the result of the earth throwing up. Justin Bieber's performances are.

Murphy Brown: What is it with us? Why can't we take the easy road once in awhile?
Avery Brown: Because it's boring and dishonest and uncomfortable, like wearing a pair of shoes all day that pinch your feet.

...if taken from the right reference frame But what about the wind and rain? Even if the Earth were not rotating [and it is, if you take a different reference frame], it's not completely still.
“To explain all nature is too difficult a task for any one man or even for any one age. 'Tis much better to do a little with certainty, & leave the rest for others that come after you, than to explain all things by conjecture without making sure of any thing.”—Statement from unpublished notes for the Preface to the Opticks (1704) by Newton.

What do you think about me? And for the darker side, here.
