    Good point. Acts done without reason are the most immature of all.

    I disagree. The most immature of all are acts done without reason and/or compassion. There needs to be both for balance. It is just as primative to act without compassion as it is to act without reason.

    I need to start putting the F perspective in superlatives I commonly place.

    lol. Heart beat me to the statement. Yes, Heart, agree with you. That life would be nothing without "random acts of beauty, and senseless acts of kindness."

    Otherwise, in the negative context of the NT's meaning, yes. I do not like things done out of malice, thoughtlessness, and idle cruelty. Nor juvenile acts that are justified as "freedom of behaviour/speech/deed" or "for the experience". The excuse of 'growing up' doesn't give one the right to hurt others.

    or the culture of victimhood.

    whatever happened to responsibility, to owning up, to accepting consequences for the causes of your deeds, instead of blaming it on society/others/them/(fill in your voodoo doll)?
    You gave me hyacinths first a year ago;
    They called me the hyacinth girl.
    Yet when we came back, late, from the Hyacinth garden,
    Your arms full, and your hair wet, I could not
    Speak, and my eyes failed, I was neither
    Living nor dead, and I knew nothing,
    Looking into the heart of light, the silence.

    Can't think of anything I hate. That's too bad.

    Oh, wait. My complete apathy; the fact that I hate nothing. I really hate that. So I do have something to hate!

    Doh!

    I just hate it when that happens! :steam:

    Oh, hey!

    Compassion is a reason.
