Especially by n00bs. What sophomoric little pricks. You can always spot them: It's like they lost their virginity or something. They start talking trash (often following a theretofore silent game) to me, or whoever they've killed. Oh well, they strut around so cocky I just turn around and pwn their fucking asses as soon as I revive, and then again as soon as they do. Then they leave the game.
What also bothers me is that following a departure this floods the screen
These people think that by telling me that the kid is banned he's learned his lesson. How primal is that? Banning is a technique used by the self proclaimed owners of whatever match they host, to scare the remaining players to stay in the game for fear of also being banned. The theory is, if everyone uses a banlist checker, then the 'leavers' (which are hardly the scum of the game... believe me) won't be able to join the game, and therefore won't be able to leave the game. Pretty neat deal eh? So is the idea of democracy; "every vote counts"
I LOL at such idiotic nationalist statements.
Unfortunately the host of nearly every us unaware that this banning does nothing. No one participates. Just like democracy.
I'm on almost every banlist for leaving games with 7 n00bs and 1 non-n00b host and I still get into every game I want to. Know why? 'Cause no one fucking uses banlist. It's meaningless. Just like voting. I have other qualms with voters that I won't get into right here and now. I've been kicked from a grand total of 6 games in the past months out of a possible 40 something. Frightening amirite?
Oh, and this isn't a rant. I hate rants. Reason: Too many people do it. Goddamn am I sick of reading a post, or a letter, or any kind of thing and at the end they try to be cute and put
Fuck that shit.
Why do we never see these?
</somewhat aggravated response>
Is the </rant> phenomenon intended to insult the reader by implying that they're not astute enough to identify a rant in a crowd?
Here's something I'm looking forward to seeing
</cutesy endings softening the rant in a cunning strategical social move to make the writer look less like a bitchy pain in the ass>
Where are the
Hmm... That's actually a good tattoo idea.
I'll be a bitchy pain in the ass and leave my </rant> tag where it belongs.
4. Yuppie bosses who think they are big players, when in fact they are pawns who don't own shit and have zero actual and up-to-date knowledge.
5. Neo-liberals, they irritate me. They know they want to kick the already lying down people in the ribs, are doing it, and don't even feel bad about it. KILL.
