When people respond to my skepticism towards UFOs by saying "Are you so naive that you think we're alone in the universe?"

As if that has anything to do with anything.

He's a Bathynomus giganteus. You can basically compare them to a woodlouse that lives in the sea, only a giant version.

    :steam: I HATE subdivisions!

I was driving back from the grociery store where I'd gone to pick up some black bean sauce and chicken because I'm having some guests over for dinner tommorrow and had not noticed that the torrential rain had turned to freezing rain and then to snow! The roads are PURE ICE here, so when I was driving back I fishtailed for a good 300 meters and slid right through my intersection  I wasn't even driving fast! I'm glad that I'm FROM here and know how to drive in snow unlike a lot of other students here who have no clue that you're not supposed to slam on your breaks while fishtailing on an icy road!

anyways, I decided to turn on the next road I came to, which turned into a subdivision- I thought that it should be easy to take the road system there to my road, but noooo... not so true at ALL! I got LOST in the subdivision and was lost there for a good 10 minutes! Eventually I came to a main road again- the one that I'd just pulled off of into the damned subdivision. :steam: subdivisions are EVIL!!!!!

Wow, you got some driving skills! I've totally skid through snow drifts in the mountains even turning about 180 degrees in the snow.

I thought most neighborhoods were confusing. I don't dip into unknown intersections anymore. As I stated in the 'superlatives' thread, I've gotten lost in my OWN neighborhood before.

    Perhaps you are actually ENFP?

Yes. I never got anyone to teach me, I just did some basic fiddling around with controls and a lot of reading online tutorials. Having someone teach you is much faster, but it's not a requirement.

Oh. You already have a name for it? You're doomed. In fact, he's already on your head as we speak, isn't he? Or I mean: Aren't you Maurice? It's you I'm speaking to, not CzeCze, isn't it?

It would be best for you to simply ignore them and bottle up your emotions.

I prefer a good smack down. This very thing happened with a neighbor of mine and I did bottle it up and didn't speak with her for almost a year. We recently reconnected (our daughters are friends) and since I let her have it (she apologized) I feel so much better although she still annoys the crap out of me.
