That damn Gardisil commercial. I mean, it's all great and all that some women can now completely avoid a type of cervical cancer and all. But:
    A) Cloying, sisterhood of women taking care of each other concept.
    B) "I want to be ONE LESS." Isn't it "fewer"? Cause people are countable objects? And then they repeat "one less" a million times and my mind is convinced it's "fewer", though it could be idiomatic like: "five items or less". And then my head just hurts.

That's a misleading concept from what I understand. Gardisil may work to prevent a specific kind of cervical cancer, but it does not work all the time even on that type of cervical cancer.

    From the CDC

Because the vaccine does not protect against all types of HPV, it will not prevent all cases of cervical cancer or genital warts. About 30% of cervical cancers will not be prevented by the vaccine, so it will be important for women to continue getting screened for cervical cancer (regular Pap tests). Also, the vaccine does not prevent about 10% of genital wartsónor will it prevent other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). So it will still be important for sexually active adults to reduce exposure to HPV and other STIs.

I'm no detective, but I think the culprit just might be a pen.

That's a funny image. A wooly mammoth wearing gloves is like a bird sitting inside a plane.
