He keeps repeating it over and over again, which drives me nearly crazy by the time the episode ends, because the thing is WRONG! What he says is: "omelette du fromage" (omelet of the cheese) instead of "omelette au fromage" (cheese omelet) :steam:
How funny. Pink and I give that silly line from Dexter's Lab whenever we don't know the answer to a question being asked. Now I know it's silly AND incorrect.

Preach it sister! I hate that too. It makes me crazy when people treat others like they're stupid for asking questions. I mean, how else are you gonna learn anything?! Isn't that the point of having a class? If we could all leap fully formed from Zeus' forehead, then school would be obsolete.

And I hate when people substitute the wrong word in a phrase and reveal that they don't know what the phrase is supposed to mean. Like:

    "Dually noted"
    "That doesn't phase me"
    "beef with au jus"
    "unusual suspects"
Nice examples of catachresis. I especially like "dually noted."

My favorite peeve is the misuse of the word excessively. You can be excessively rich, but not poor. Collectibles aren't excessively rare.
    They are rare.

Maybe this is a NorCal and Orange County thing? I hear it quite a lot... And No Doubt had that sound 'hella good'.

It should be "faze"...phase is a different word with a different meaning.

Yep, I hate the idea of obnoxious, silly, cute, loud, ADD / ADHD-ish cheery things doing a cultural revolution over some respectable cultures, anywhere.

And my response to gourmet (epicurean) in that thread netted "inane." Aren't we just having fun?
