No prob! In that article the man goes above and beyond researching his roots....if you did the DNA test you could at least find out with tribe or area your family came from .

The rest (I have to guesstimate) is Scots-Irish (Ulster Scots), German, Polish, Irish, and French-possibly-Jewish.
Oh yeah, I forgot to say some of the background: My Swedish-American grandfather was the son of immigrants, so I know that one for sure. My English grandfather I'm less sure of, because they arrived here around 1700 in Anne Arundel county, Maryland, as Quakers from York. They probably aren't pure English by the 20th century as they made their way to the Midwest. One great-great-grandmother was Cherokee and married an Ulster Scot (but I have Scots from other branches too). One great-grandmother that I thought was just German turned out to be part Polish, I just found out this year.

My daughter is all that and half Korean. Or so we assume, wife was adopted and doesn't look entirely Korean to other Koreans.

On my mom's side we're Italian and Ukranian; the Italian had a lot more influence, though, because once my grandfather came to America and became American, we didn't talk about "the old country" anymore.

On my dad's side, they don't know or care. We think our last name is French, but that's about it.

25% german. Each parent has 25% german each so I have 25% as it doesn't diminish.* Great Great Grandfather born in germany*, under 10% irish/scottish. Someday I want to find out what town was he born and raised in. If I wasn't a chicken i'd really love to visit said town just once in my life. Love to trace it back farther if possible. The connection to my heritage always fascinated me beginning from a pretty young age (7ish when I said "Guten tag" as I walked inside my house feeling that connection with my ancestors/heritage).

Even smaller English like 2% (family member found out from a test that's why there is %'s.

    heh... Carry on .
    What is Feeling?
Feeling is primarily a process.....that imparts to the content a definite value in the sense of acceptance or rejection. In the same way that thinking organizes the contents of consciousness under concepts, feeling arranges them according to their value. Feeling, like thinking, is a rational function, since values in general are assigned according to the laws of reason...
