    Default Jar won't open

    I tried everything from banging it on the counter to running under what water to a jar opener and this jar won't fucking open. ANd I really need it opened
    In no likes experiment.

    Use the end of a knife and go around it banging it firmly but not too hard a few times. Then, get extra traction to twist it off with a rubber glove.

    use a rough textured cloth for a better grip

    fucking knife trick didn't work.

    Or grow a longer arm, but I think that is a bit more complicated..

    Longer arm means better leverage though.

    What kind of jar is it. Is it vacuum sealed? (You know with the metalish jar lids that have this like 'dent' thingy that say pop when you open it?)

    If you're desperate you can always poke a small hole in it to release the vacuum and it should be easy to open then.

    have you put a rubber band around the outside rim of the jar lid and tried? that's what I resorted to the other day when everything else I tried failed... and it worked!
