LOL! That would be a fun house.

Guidance people. Oh, Lord. When I was in high school a guidance couselor thought college would be tough for me since my grades in high school were just average.
I said to her, "Hey lady, did it ever occur to you that the reason my grades are merely average is I'm bored?"

When I got to college, I got straight A's. I wasn't bored anymore.
Some people in the school "system" just don't understand kids with a certain type of mind.

yeah... I actually had a teacher in middle school who told my parents that I wouldn't really do well in school until college because the way that classes were set up tended to bore me... he was right

I at least tended to test really well (for some reason I got a perfect on the science section of the ACT) so everyone wanted me to go to med school... except for me

yes, evenings at my house in high school were thrilling... dad reading a scientific journal on one end of the couch, mom grading papers and watching tv on the other end of the couch, sister sitting on the loveseat singing to herself while modifying her clothes to make them more "her" and me sitting on the floor eating

Our people equate Ne with disorganized thinking. No, I don't think the voices of members of the Extroverted Intuitive temperament are louder than that of posters who are guided primarily by other functions. What I do see is that most people here are very young, have little academic experience or are working adults who have not had a major intellectual challenge in years. Thinking and writing in a very well-ordered fasshion is a skill that most writers develop and main with a great deal of experience and practice. In other words, most people here can't organize their thoughts and for this reason believe that they are Ne types as well as appear as such to the countless folk typology aficionados. If we are to claim that Ne ethos dominate this forum, we'd have to concede that every other internet forum or public congregation is also 'overwhelmingly Ne dominant'.

The funny thing is that I'm unambiguously Ne-dominant, and I actually express myself in a very ordered manner. Te kicks my ass if I don't.
