Hmm I'm somewhat surprised at how low the Asian population in MA is. I know for the town I'm in the demographic is about 80% white 16% Asian and there are other towns nearby with even larger Asian populations.

What happens to the correlation for Asians when you take out Hawaii? That single point is messing the value up massively.

Asian population, Christianity and Spanish speaking homes don't seem to have much effect on IQ at all within a state from those numbers.

It's interesting how having a high school diploma is showing so much more correlation with IQ than college or income are. I'd expect those three to be closer in correlation importance.

I think the abnormality in MA of highest college with a respectively lower high school % is due to high rates of immigration and those immigrants often times get college degrees but many don't have high school diplomas. The high college rate could also simply be a result of how many colleges there are in the state. Which leads to college students being counted and college students settling near where they went to college.

This chart seems to suggest some interesting implications regarding the relationship between race, intelligence, and monetary success.

I wish someone who's less lazy than me would analyze the numbers in a bit more detail.

I wonder what the correlation between latitude and IQ is. It looks like there might be a rather strong correlation present with latitude of where people live. It seems like this might be a larger factor than the racial distribution. If so, this could be skewing racial distribution. The interaction between climate and IQ of the people attracted to the area could be possible.

Included. Not sure what you mean by "skewing racial distribution." The distribution is what it is; multiple things can be correlated without any skew.
