    Level 10.

South America and Eastern Europe completely screwed up my score. I was thousands of kilometres off, on average. For instance, pegging the Galapagos Islands as being in the wrong ocean...

Seems I have to crack open an Atlas sometime...

Level 12 is preposterously difficult. I got lucky I made level 12 at all, considering they didn't ask many African cities: everything between Ethiopia and South Africa is a big black hole for me.

But by level 12 they're asking for all sorts of crazy little islands in the middle of nowhere. Mayotte, France? Oh, I don't know, I figure it's in France...OOOOH SHIT, turns out it's thousands of kilometres southeast, near Madagascar...

Yeah, that sneaky stuff is hard! Australia is difficult too - which is embarrassing as New Zealander. I know the main cities but many of the places I've never heard of.

The problem with Australia is that there's nothing in the middle. It's all on the coast. And while places like Perth and Melbourne are easy (even though I had a brain fart and confused Melbourne for Adelaide on one of the middle levels...), places like Geraldton (??!??!?!) are damned hard. I just threw the flag down around the middle and hoped I wasn't too far away to get any points.

(Turns out Geraldton is on the west coast, north of Perth)

The projection of the map doesn't help either. Canada was far, far too big. Even I was 700 km off Edmonton.
