I still remember the day my 6th grade social studies teacher asked the class "Name some languages that were a major influence on English."

    I answered "French."

He said "No, French really didn't affect English much."

Hmmm, I thought. Battle of Hastings? William the Conqueror? Norman French being the language of the English court for three centuries? Any of this a-ringin' a bell?!?

WoW-nerd, unsarcasticly, when I made a pricky comment: "Get a life!"
I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."

Me: Uh...OK...I guess thats better than a punch in the mouth.

Her. What!?! You're so cruel! How dare you! How dare you! You men are all alike... Bla bla bla (starts going off on me hardcore for about 10 min)

lol that newlyweds show was a gem. jessica simpson is truly really dumb, or can really act out the part of the dumb blonde stereotype. i think in that one episode she also asked what was "chicken of the sea." lol her husband was like "are you kidding me?" hahaha "it's tuna!"

That reminds me of the OLD Newlyweds Game clip where Bob Eubanks asks the contestants "Where's the most unusual place you've made whoopee?" and the new bride replied in front of God and everybody, "My ass."

With all seriousness, a friend said to me, "Dude, did you know that they're not really singing in music videos!??" He wasn't talking about lip-syncing. He thought all the music he heard during the video was created during the video.
