Intuitives can focus on seemingly random points, and if we miss an important point, what ever conclusions we derive from then on will be skewed.

Working in an extremely sensor enviroment at the moment, I can see how strange I am when I pull ideas out from thin air, but for me, intuition is basically a combination of what I seen in the past, combined with theoritcal knowledge, extrpolations and permutations of those experiences, and wah laa, a conclusion. Some times I don't even know where that conclusion came from, other than I can only assume I've taken in a lot of sensory data, filtered it, made a few odd connections and come up with a conclusion.

In contrast to the paint by numbers enviroment I find my self in, the route step by step process of elimination can be tedious (although necessary), especially when I've already deduced the problem several steps back. I know people find it frustrating when I say, long before it is obvious, you should do this....and not be able to give a coherrent reason why, other than it seemed like a good idea at the time (or because the analyser sounds funny, LOL), they want reasons why!
Currently submerged under an avalanche of books and paper work. I may come back up for air from time to time.
Real life awaits and she is a demanding mistress.

Have you ever look "The lord of the Rings" triology ?

The original story would be a Sensing way of doing things.

So here is how the story would have looked like with N approach. (with a few drops of Te)

^This is why I triple-check every plot and story of mine on easy ways out. Especially if I created a good, smart INTJ character
    Got questions? Ask an ENTP!
    I'm female. I just can't draw women

What can I say ? We simply like to search for them.
In a way you can even say that this is our main biological function.
