Prolly 'cause a lot of the time dudes pose as girls online in MMOs... And 'cause dudes play jokes on their friends like that. Idk. Those are my theories.

Nobody wants to accidentally insult a guy by calling them “girly”

If you post pictures of women as your avatar, I tend to think that you just a guy who likes pictures of women, or that the person in the photo is your girlfriend.Your avatar can be more of a distillation of your interests, so Even if you post an animated gif of massive giggly boobs- I’ll still think of you as a guy.

Posting pictures of cats can just be a sign of being playful.

I mean no offence, but I tend to think that everybody is a guy.

I’m a girl, but I’ve been confused for a guy by (I think) two people on TypologyCentral, and at least a dozen times on YouTube.
Q: "What is the process of seeking the truth?"
    A: "Distilled liquor"

Q: "If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?"
A: "Between a starving prostitute and a steak sandwich."

Q:How would a mathematician capture an elephant?
A:He would build a cage, step inside, and rename his new location as "outside."
