well, Would you?? would you like meeting yourself? would you enjoy and get along with yourself?

    odd question.

    EDIT: bastards! Explain why!!
Ooh. Ooh. I used to think about this when I was 5- "What if I met myself, but in a different race, ethnicity? Same face? Same body? Different culture? Same person? Same age? Same mind? Different language?" I used to imagine waving to that person and sharing the same wave back- like looking into a mirror but 3 dimensional and 'real.'

I used to fantasize about this a lot and thought it'd be cool. Then when I found out about my mbti type (remember when my career counselor/mentour handed me my results), it was like a breath of fresh air/sigh of relief- "Wow. There are others who think like me? Nah. Noway." Felt great.

When I met a few other confirmed ENFPs in class? Los chicas especially.. I fell in love- they were just what I imagined when I was 5. I enjoy meeting other faces of different temperaments too. Discovering that even though we may be different but share very similar personalities brings me back to what I wished for as a kid..

I've thought about this question. If I met myself, I probably would not like the person at first. But once I got past some of the (reserve/defense/nervousness) layers, I probably would. I consistently like INFPs, and I have reasonable self-esteem, but I would not like meeting myself, from an outsider's perspective.
edit: That said, I would love to find my doppelganger. The person who looks exactly like me, possibly living halfway around the world. I just hope we're not the same on the inside too!
Just because I'm an INFP doesn't mean I'm emo!

Probably, neither of us would really think about whether we liked the other or not, and would be more likely to immediately start plotting together about how to take over the world.

If we left each other alone, I'd like me quite a bit.

Here's what the thought process would be if I met myself...

"Oh, she's pretty cool. Seems like we're interested in the same things. We're hitting it off, I think. But why isn't she wanting to talk to me more? She's sticking with her other friends, and not giving me a chance. It's like there's this conversational line she's unwilling to cross. That's annoying. Screw her, I'm outta here."'

But that's the worst case scenario. I think I'd like myself, otherwise. I didn't use to think that, but now I do. Not sure whether we could be VERY good friends, but friendly acquaintance-ship would work just fine.
