Personally, not at all. ESFP's do not attract me. I imagine most INTP's would feel the same way.

Do remember ESFp in Socionics is nowhere close to the same type as ESFP in MBTI. Everyone here seems to be making the mistake of equating the two -- they're different systems, with different functions and different types, that happen to have similar labels. Napoleon (ENTJ) was an ESFp for example, and ESTp is a very common type for ENTJs and INTJs.

That's true, although according to keirsey, something similar exists in MBTI. He said that the anima/animus types are often attractive,so INTJ/ESFP, ISTP/ENFJ. It would probably help if people look at it either this way or socionics way, rather than trying to combine them and potentially getting very confused.

Either way, I'm not convinced it's true. To be honest, I tend to find ESFPs to be exhausting. They certainly don't "shelter my weak Se" so much as pick at it till it bleeds. In all fairness, I don't think most of them find me very interesting anyway. ISFPs are a lot easier to get along with. Their Se isn't so overwhelmingly prominant.

Actually, Kiersey's type matches were all the letter switched except N/S. So your anima/animus would be ENFP rather than ESFP.

I have my own (unconfirmed) theory that the best match for a person is their shadow -- same functions oriented in opposite directions. So your ideal type would be ENTP, and mine would be INFJ (makes more sense than mine being INTJ -- INTJ women seem to have frozen hoo-has ).

Se and Si are totally screwed between MBTI and Socionics. I'm not sure I identify with ISFp there. They're described as passive, kind of perky hedonists with Si and Fe.
