    E, F, C, B, E, C, A, F, D, E

Erhm, I'm a very broad artistic genius!?

    3XE = Writer
    2XF, C = Critic, Musician
    1XA, B, D = Rest

I've never written anything in my life, though it is something I'd like to do. Maybe it's a hidden talent. As for critic and musician, those definitely apply to me.

You're going on an adventure. It's a clear morning when you start, and you've got a long way to go on a:
    a) train (I would've picked 'unicycle' if it were a choice)

It happens to be a color that appeals to you, which is:
    b) aubergine (really?? really??? no)

    d) white

It's been a long week, and you're exhausted. When you glance to the left you notice the sky is changing--inclement weather is rapidly approaching. It looks like:
    c) a thunderstorm

While you're gazing, an unexpected jolt rocks through the vehicle, you crash, and you're knocked unconscious. Hours later, when you finally come to, you find yourself alone in a vast:
    b) jungle

    e) desert (my first choice was 'desert' but who wants to be stuck in a desert?? at least there's food and moisture in a jungle)

Tragically, you also discover a grievous bodily injury. You've gone:
    a) completely numb (it's shock, feeling returns shortly :P)

    e) you can't remember--it's amnesia (I like this one, it's not painful or requires immediate emergency medical intervention)

You're begin to wander aimlessly with only one survival tool, a
    b) flask (since portable world-wide GPS system wasn't an option)

You all but give up hope when an animal approaches you. Oddly enough, it's a(n):
    f) crab (you said 'oddly enough' a crab is pretty odd for a jungle, right?)

    and it's speaking in:
    e) elvish (I was gonna say 'tongues' and I figure 'elvish' is close enough, we all know there's no such thing!)

The creature offers to heal your wound in exchange for your lovely:
    b) scarf (my first pick was 'body' HA. HA. HA. I said scarf but it makes the most sense for a scarf to be lovely than a pair of sunglasses etc.)

But you don't want to part with it! You prepare to run, when suddenly you wake up! Thank god. You then:
    d) check for that injury (I'd do that after a delayed reaction)
    a) keep dreaming (then immediately I'd do this)

ps the other sex related options...reallly?? really???

    The End
    FIN!

Update - read the answer key.

    B
    The Artist

You're attracted to the visual and may have an aptitude for drawing, cartooning, painting, sculpture, pottery, 3D design, or even photography.

If you don't feel like a formal artist yet, then it's high time to experiment. Pick up a pen and doodle, or pick up a camera and step outside.

A and E seem to be the runners up - Poet, Writer.

no arguments here. i am definitely a visual artist and i am certainly (somewhat secretly) a writer as well.... my stories are usually more like dreams than anything, though. i don't think i am destined to be a great novelist, but i do enjoy wordplay and symbolism a great deal.... i'm like the bastard baby of lewis carroll and franz kafka or something, but with the aesthetics of poe and the cynicism of rand...maybe i aspire more toward the sublimity of hesse.... yeah, i should lay off the caffeine when i'm posting; sorry!

TL;DR - cool exercise! guess i'm an artist.

but you know, i really would've given the rhyming elephant the scarf!

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.."
    -Oscar Wilde
