    Default Reset button

Was thinking about this picture a few minutes ago for reasons I can't remember why. Do love the artist's work (oddly he's colourblind so only does things in red/black/white), but alot of his stuff also tends to have strong ties to self resentment, especially physically.

Many of us have issues with ourselves in one way or another, physically, emotionally, whoteverly. Which leads to the question asked in the comic...

If yeu DID have a "restart" button on yeur body... would yeu press it?

How much would yeu be willing to reset, if anything? Body? Mind? Memories? Would yeu be willing to live yeur life over again, or do yeu want it pretty much the same but with a few things yeu'd just really rather change about yeurself? Would yeu be willing to give up everything yeu are, in the hopes of maybe getting another chance to attain everything yeu COULD be?

It's deep stuff for a single, simple question. So whot would yeu do? Would yeu press the button?

hmm...had to think about that a bit....but no i guess i wouldn't...i think of life as a series of tests meant to teach you things so when you later learn you made a wrong choice you learn an invaluable lesson and you go on to use that information later when the tests get harder...it's a good thing.

    Sure!
I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."

    I'd press the ↑, ↑, ↓, ↓, ←, →, ←, →, B, A buttons to get an instant boost in everything

For sure, but I´d make a backup first.

I'd reset my age but keep my mind, my thoughts and memories if I could.

    UGH no...

Actually, now that I think about it, if it existed, I probably would press it eventually, but I don't think I'd WANT to press it. I would just be so curious. Maybe if the question were "if you could choose to have a reset button, would you?" Then I would say no. Although... maybe I would just wait until the very end of my life when I was about to die and then press it, almost like reincarnation...

as much as I'd love to delete several years of my life and just start over at the age of 18 sometimes, I really wouldn't be willing to give up the friends and relationships that I've built for myself today. I know without those experiences I wouldn't have what I have now, so I guess I wouldn't press it... especially since I'd probably lose every lesson I learned the first time around and would make all of the same mistakes
