It was wonderful! I have nothing but good things to say about the Arabic language program I took part in. I loved all the other students, it was put together very well, there were few logistical issues, etc. Everything I disliked about the trip had to do with how I was treated as a foreign woman. Though that was to be expected. If I had been male, I probably would have loved Egypt enough to want to live there.
(Also, my Arabic is a lot better! Though it still sounds suspiciously like David Sedaris' French from "Me Talk Pretty One Day".)
