    Definitely not Batman.

So far, Oberon is correct. Although his apathy could be construed as a negative in terms of the typical function of the superhero, which is to care about people, or at least something.

    SuperDupont

(The French equivalent of Captain America)

Wherever baguettes, berets and croissants are menaced by international capitalism/bolshevism, SuperDupont will be there!

Why? He's my favourite. He has to fight without innate special abilities or mutations and whatnot. Much harder, more respectful.

I certainly understand the respect that goes in to Batman, simply because he had to work for every edge and ability he had, aside from being super rich, which is far more respectable than someone who is privileged by accident or happenstance. He is the equivalent to Adrian Veidt [though I actually find Veidt to be better too, due to the scope of his attempt at crime fighting].

However, in a vs. scenario, you essentially have to completely game the confrontation for Batman to win against a variety of opponents.

From a writer's perspective, Batman's limitations make him a more interesting character. Who wants to write Superman? Not me.
